Faria ou farinha? (would make or batter)

Today I talk with my friend from New York. 


Today in my to talk with my friend, we are to speak in Portuguese, amid our to talk arise two words 'faria' and 'farinha', she don't realized the sounds these two words, like that I have difficulty with words how 'batter, butter, better', but help each other.

Dear journey.  Today noon I went to Carnubais City. In my State road are very bad with much hole. The roads my State, we called "RNs".  I did a travel until Carnaubais city, a travel very bad, a road full of holes, hard the drive,  I needed visit some customers there, because my last visit was three months ago.
